Activate Health is proud to announce that we were among two finalists for the Virtual Reality Video of the Year at the Spectrum Awards, sponsored by the Phoenix Chapter of the American Marketing Association. Many leading advertising firms and healthcare ad agencies were on hand to celebrate the nominees, finalists and award winners at the event on May 10. Our 3D 360 stereoscopic video was created for Matrix Medical Network, a health care assessment company serving Medicare plans and their members. This video was designed to take a full-size bus (converted into a health clinic) and “transition” it into a small conference space at RISE, a leading conference in the risk adjustment space. The two-minute virtual reality video walked these audiences through the company’s mobile health clinic, educating them about the state-of-the-art health technology on board as well as its skilled clinical staff members.
Activate Health was among the first healthcare ad agencies to leverage virtual reality technology, using it to help clients provide a three-dimensional physical space to show off healthcare facilities, physician practices and clinics. The “pop ups” used throughout these videos can be used to add compelling details about state-of-the-art technology and clinical workflow practices that are hard to explain in a static live action or animated video alone.
According to Laura Reagen, Activate Health’s CEO, “We’re honored to be recognized among other leading healthcare ad agencies and marketing firms for our work in the healthcare virtual reality space. And now that virtual reality has become even more affordable from an equipment perspective, we are seeing a significant uptick in interest in these videos.”
Honoring excellence since 2002, the AMA Spectrum Awards is the Arizona’s only award ceremony dedicated to recognizing both the art and science of marketing. Year after year, the awards recognize marketing teams (including design firms, in-house marketing departments and healthcare ad agencies) who create brilliant campaigns that also achieve meaningful results.
A special thanks goes out to the marketing team at Matrix Medical Network for being such incredible, collaborative partners and helping us succeed as a leading healthcare ad agency!
